In Science, students should study for matter quiz on Friday.  Students should be able to use the matter vocabulary and be able to label an atom and it's parts.

B & D Block - Finish Benchmark 5-8 Practice Test (many finished in class)

Homework 3/24/14

In science, we are continuing the unit on matter.  In math,

Block B - Topic 9 test on Tuesday, students should complete practice test p. 246/247 omitting questions 2 & 5.
Block D - Topic 8 test on Tuesday, students should complete practice test pg. 216/217 omitting questions 2 & 9.

Math & Science week ending 3/21/14

Science - In science we reviewed basic concepts of matter.  We will discuss vocabulary and read section 8.1.  Later in the week, the students will finish the design a species project.

No other homework will be assigned due to ELA MCAS this week.  Please remember, students will be taking ELA MCAS on Wednesday & Thursday this week.  Make sure your student gets a good night sleep and eats a hearty breakfast.  Mrs. Hannan has been working all year on ELA skills, they are well prepared.

Monday 3/3/14 Homework

Science - all students will complete Chapter 6 unit test on Wednesday, March 5th.  To properly prepare, students should have their study guide, wholly notes from units 6.1, 6.2 & 6.4, vocabulary, and producers/consumers flip chart.

B block - pg. 210/211 Q 16-26
D Block - Practice Test due Tuesday, Topic 7 Test on Wednesday.
